South Indian Filter Coffee
The classic davara-tumbler ritual. Strong decoction, thick milk, just enough sugar.
- 01Add 4 tbsp of coarsely ground KAAFAY Estate Blend No. 7 to the upper chamber of a South Indian filter.
- 02Pour 200ml of just-boiled water over the grounds. Cover and let it drip for 10–15 minutes.
- 03Heat 250ml of full-fat milk until almost boiling. Sweeten to taste.
- 04Pour half the decoction into each tumbler. Top with hot milk. Froth between tumbler and davara until creamy.
